Sara Deponte        

An honors graduate of Parson’s School of Design, NYC, Sara’s work is found in galleries as well as private collections.

Sara has been involved in the commercial art field as art director.designer and illustrator for over twenty-five years. Working out of White Pickets Studio in Petersham MA., Sara is one of a family of artists; husband Fabio; son Matthew; and
daughter Nicole.

Well known for her animal and people story-portraits, Sara has combined her love of animals with her years of experience as a commercial and fine artist. Her water- colors capture the unique personalities of each subject, telling a story all their own.
This comes from first hand knowledge since she enjoys riding her Arabian horse, Boston, who shares his barn with quarter horse Diamond, appaloosa Ciao Bella and Guido, their very darling burro. Ducks patrol the pond while their dog, Bette, and two cats. Tiger and Toad patrol the house. Just as powerful an influence on her art are the
ever-changing gardens surrounding the studio.
